Special Announcements WV Legislative Rules Updated! - The WV PE Board is pleased to announce our Series 1 Legislative Rules (specifically 7-01 - Examination, Licensure and Practice of Professional Engineers) were filed and effective April 1, 2020. The new Rules are available on the WV Secretary of State's website under Code of State Rules Search, as well as our website under the WV Engineering Law link. The new rules include, but are not limited to, allowing for early taking of the PE exam via decoupling, low income and military fee waivers for initial licensure for qualifying applicants, a reduction and/or removal of some fees (specifically COA reinstatement fees and PE exam retake fees), etc. UPDATED BROWSER REQUIRED - Website Visitors must use updated versions of Chrome, Firefox, IE 10/11.
